Our Classrooms

A Montessori classroom is very different from a standard classroom. Montessori materials are designed to meet the developmental needs of the 3 year age span within each classroom. Each area is designed to be accessible and cared for by children. Because our classrooms are designed for self-directed learning, your child chooses the work that's right for him or her and concentrates on that work until it is completed with confidence.
Montessori teaching tools complement your child's sensorial experiences, through science, art, language, geography, mathematics, and music. In addition to academic experience, through hands-on activities, your child learns to practice daily living tasks, such as cleaning, preparing meals and learning to care for themselves and others. Children in our classrooms learn respect, grace and courtesy to others.
