Prospect Street Campus:

Auburn Campus (until June, 2022):

  • One Children’s House classroom (Preschool & Kindergarten)

Faculty: Forty, including dedicated co-curricular teachers

Co-curriculars: Performing and Music Arts, Visual Arts, French, Latin, Technology and Innovation/STEAM, Library, Gardening and Sustainability

Accreditations: Association of Independent Schools of New England (AISNE) and the American Montessori Society (AMS)

School Day

School opens each morning at 7:30 am. Before School care is available. Most classes start at 8:30 am with dismissal at 2:30 pm for Children’s House and 3:30 pm for Elementary students with optional After School care and enrichments until 5:30 pm. Half-day programs are available for Children’s House students.

Kindergarten and Elementary students who reside in Shrewsbury are eligible for Shrewsbury Public School bus service through the Town of Shrewsbury Department of Transportation.

Our academic year runs from September through the beginning of June.

School History

Year Event
1972 Mrs. Nancy Corkum opened her first school, Treetops, with 5 children, in Dudley, MA
1976 Auburn Campus is opened.
1981 To accommodate growing enrollment, Children’s House (CH) is established and several more classrooms are opened in various locations in Shrewsbury, including Mt. Olivet church.
1986 Our Main Campus, Oak Street Campus was purchased and an elementary program was added.
2019 Closed purchase on the Prospect Street Campus building.
2022 Open Prospect Street Campus to offer additional Toddler and Children’s House classrooms, summer programs, and space for all school events.
